Consultation for Lines, Wrinkles and Facial Balancing

At Projuvenate, we offer face-to-face consultations to explore aesthetic concerns linked to muscle activity and facial movement. These consultations are carried out by qualified medical professionals and are designed to give you personalised, balanced advice based on your facial anatomy, muscle activity and overall health.

Some of these concerns can be helped by treatments that work on muscle activity. Where that’s the case, your practitioner will explain how it works, what results are realistic, and the risks and aftercare involved – with no obligation to proceed. Any treatment is assessed, prescribed and carried out only where it’s clinically appropriate for you, with your informed consent and the time you need to consider your decision.

If your goals extend beyond muscle activity, the consultation can also consider skin-quality options such as EMFACE, EXION Face, or polynucleotides where suitable.

How does the consultation work?

  • A qualified medical professional reviews your medical history, your aesthetic concerns and your desired outcomes, and assesses your facial anatomy and muscle activity to determine whether a treatment may be appropriate.

  • If it is, your practitioner explains how the treatment works, the concerns it may help, possible side effects and aftercare. You’ll have time to ask questions and to decide whether you’d like to go ahead. Where it’s clinically appropriate and you feel ready, treatment can sometimes take place on the same day; if it’s better for you to take more time, you’re welcome to return for treatment at a later date.

What this consultation can explore

People come to us to discuss a range of concerns. A consultation lets us assess whether any of these can be addressed and, if so, how. We don’t publish per-concern pricing, because suitability is individual and treatment is only ever arranged after a personal assessment.

  • Dynamic lines formed by repeated facial expression – across the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes
  • Jaw tension, clenching and grinding (bruxism), and concerns about jawline definition
  • A “gummy” smile
  • Brow position and asymmetry
  • Lines around the nose and concerns about lip position
  • Banding and definition along the neck and jawline
  • Excessive underarm sweating

If something on this list resonates, the consultation is the right first step – it’s where we work out whether there’s a suitable, safe option for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this treatment safe?

Any treatment discussed is prescription-only and administered only by qualified healthcare professionals after a thorough consultation. All risks and benefits are explained in advance.

Will I be treated on the same day?

Possibly. Treatment is never given without a proper consultation, in-person assessment and your informed consent first. Where your clinician judges that it’s clinically appropriate for you and you’ve had enough time to consider your decision, treatment can sometimes take place on the same day. If you’d prefer more time to reflect – or your clinician feels that’s the right approach for you – treatment is arranged for a later date instead.

How long do results last?

Where treatment is prescribed, effects typically become visible within 3-14 days and may last around 3-4 months. Your practitioner will discuss this with you in detail.

Are there any risks or side effects?

Common side effects can include redness, swelling or minor bruising at the injection site. Less commonly, temporary asymmetry, drooping or dryness may occur. Serious reactions are rare and are discussed during your consultation.

Can I have this treatment if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. These treatments are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
